About Me

Hi! I’m Jenelle.

A Jesus loving, coffee chugging, low tox living, mental health advocating, Etsy shop owning, mom blogging, fellow mom encourager.

I’m addicted to coffee brewed with cinnamon, the smell of vanilla & coconut, singing at the top of my lungs in the car, cottage/farmhouse decor, and helping fellow moms.

In my previous life, I’ve been a retail manager, bank teller, financial fraud investigator, and technical writer. Never having graduated from college (I attended as a dance major), I spent my twenties “finding myself” as they say.

In 2020, after over 5 years of unexplained infertility and experiencing 2 confirmed losses along the way, I finally became a mom… to twins… at the start of a global pandemic.

I never went back to work after my maternity leave ended and became a stay-at-home mom.

We enrolled the boys in a very small, private Montessori preschool at 18 months to give them the opportunity to socialize with other children safely. They started going 3 days a week for a few hours a day which left me with an extra 8 hours to myself.

Needing a hobby, I launched my first website, For the Love Of Two, where I blogged about twin mom life and attempted to do a bit of affiliate marketing.

It didn’t take off the way I hoped but I learned A LOT.

One of my biggest takeaways being how much I enjoyed creating graphics and working in Canva.

After making the decision to put down the blog as an income, I took a short break to consider what I was going to do next. Being a one income household was getting a bit harder to maintain long term.

I decided to take a leap of faith and register as an LLC under the name Steele Magnolia Creative. I wanted to choose something that had a strong meaning but left me open to pursue anything I wanted to creatively.

Leaning into my newfound love of graphic design, I opened my first print on demand t-shirt shop on Etsy, Ink Loves Tees. I decided to choose a different, unique name for my Etsy shop so it was clear what I was selling.

Now I design high-quality, affordable graphic tees, tank tops, and sweatshirts with simple feminine designs.

I also rebooted the blog because I missed it. This time I’m writing for fun not for money.

I’m so glad you’re here and I hope you stick around!
